Remember when I won a giveaway on my birthday? Well, it arrived on my doorstep last week and I have enjoyed looking through it very much. It doesn’t do much to quell my desire to start another quilt, but I’m trying to convince myself that that would be insane with all the other projects I have floating in my head, not to mention the fact that I have twins, a job, a husband, a house, a dog, etc, etc, that need my attention as well. So I’m trying to stick to smaller projects for a while.
Speaking of smaller projects, a found a few wonderful fabric scraps tucked into the book and they reminded me of the cute little tags I saw on her blog so I decided to give them a try. I used mine to label some canning that I’ve been doing recently.
Here are a couple of my favorites:
How cute is that? A little piggy advertising my homemade spaghetti sauce. I love it.
Of course, I couldn’t resist a little Anna Maria Horner love. I love these tags because they are a great way to use up those scraps of fabric that are so small, but I just can’t bring myself to throw out. Now I smile every time I walk past my pantry.
